The film school offers a BFA and MFA.
The Film School is regarded as one of the most accomplished film schools in the world and is well-known for selectivity in admissions.^[1][2] FSU Film students won more Student Oscars (2) and College Television Awards (5) in one year than any other film school.^[3] The college is one of the only film schools in the country to be recognized by the Directors Guild of America for “its distinguished contribution to American culture through the world of film and television”. It is also the only film school in the nation to pay for all undergraduate and graduate students production costs, creating an environment in which students can concentrate on the artistry of film. With the help of unusually active alumni and a mentorship program, virtually 100% of the students find a meaningful job in the film or television industries within 12 months.
